The Dawson County Emergency Manager reported trees and power lines blown down in the Lumpkin area of southeast Dawson County. One tree fell onto a house and power lines along West Mountainside Drive.

A persistent upper-level trough over the eastern U.S. and a cold front dropping south through the state brought scattered strong and isolated severe thunderstorms to north and central Georgia.
