The Jackson County Emergency Manager reported wind damage to a warehouse on Cobb Street in Jefferson. A sheet metal awning was torn from the side of the building and roof damage occurred.

A persistent upper-level trough over the eastern U.S. and a cold front dropping south through the state brought scattered strong and isolated severe thunderstorms to north and central Georgia.
