Peak convective gust of 43 mph measured at Lorain Harbor C-MAN Station (i.e. LORO1).

Lake Erie was in the warm sector during the early afternoon through early evening of the 27th as a surface low remained nearly-stationary near northern Lake Huron and the trailing front remained nearly-stationary from the low to the Lower Missouri River Valley. Simultaneously, multiple clusters of multicell thunderstorms produced gale-force peak wind gusts along portions of the southern lakeshore as the clusters moved generally eastward. These storms encountered a warm sector comprised of moderate instability, DCAPE, and vertical wind shear, respectively.
