The fires in the Devil's Knob Complex were started by lightning in early August. The exact date and time of initiation was uncertain. As of 0630 PDT on 09/01/21, the fires had burned 36933 acres and were 28 percent contained. 1 structure was lost, and 25.9 million dollars had been spent on firefighting efforts.
