A dozen trees were uprooted along the shoreline of a harbor. Minor damage occurred to boats tied to docks. A few boats suffered damage to masts and antennas. Wind gusts were estimated at up to around 70 knots.
Wider weather episode
Severe thunderstorms crossed the coast of Hancock county during the late afternoon hours of the 30th. Some of the thunderstorms produced damaging winds and large hail along the coast and coastal islands including the Cranberry Isles.
