Wider weather episode
An area of low pressure originating from the Pacific Northwest dropped into the Great Basin. The upper level lift paired with the abundance of moisture resulted in widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some storms produced heavy rain which led to localized debris flows across portions of western Colorado.
