Milwaukee Harbor lakeshore weather station measured 10 minutes of strong wind gusts as thunderstorms moved through the area. The peak gust was 36 knots at 2:20 pm CDT.

A line of strong thunderstorms moved from southeast and east central Wisconsin across the Lake Michigan shore and nearshore areas during the afternoon, producing sporadic strong wind gusts in excess of 30 knots.
