Event narrative

Thunderstorm winds downed two large trees, one power pole, a barn and a few small sheds in Central. One of the downed trees smashed through a brick wall. Another of the trees downed two power lines which trapped two people in separate vehicles.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms developed over the Mogollon Rim and moved southwest across Greenlee and Graham counties. One storm caused lightning and wind damage in Central.
