Event narrative

Thunderstorm winds blew down a large tree onto a house causing major damage to the walls, which were buckling under the weight of the fallen tree. Several windows were broken on the house as well.

Wider weather episode

A trough moved southeast through the region, generating a complex of showers and storms. Numerous reports of damaging winds, a few tornadoes and flash flooding were reported with this system.
