Lorain Harbor C-MAN Station (LORO1) reported a peak gust of 58 mph from a thunderstorm.

A surface low drifted southeast across northern Lake Huron between 8 AM and 11 AM EDT on the 29th. Simultaneously, the trailing cold front swept southeast across Lower MI while the warm front advanced from central to eastern Lake Erie. A cluster of multicell thunderstorms produced isolated gale-force to severe wind gusts along the northeast OH shore as the storms moved generally eastward in the warm sector. These storms encountered moderate instability and DCAPE, and moderate to strong effective bulk shear.
