The fires in the Devil's Knob Complex were started by lightning in early August. The exact date and time of initiation was uncertain. As of 0630 PDT on 10/01/21, the fires had burned 70110 acres and were 58 percent contained. 1 structure was lost, and 57.4 million dollars had been spent on firefighting efforts.
