Event narrative

At least five 12-18 inch size trees down on the property due to strong winds. Minor damage was done to one building as one tree fell against it.

A weak shortwave progressed over the Great Lakes on 7/5, providing sufficient upper-level support for a cluster of storms that initiated along an advancing cold front over Lake Michigan to strengthen and go on to produce damaging wind gusts across parts of northern Michigan.
