Event narrative

Video received showed deep and swift moving water flowing westward down Center Street and 700 E in Paragonah. Flows originated from Red Creek, which empties into Paragonah from the east. Radar estimated up to 2.15 inches of rain upstream over the Red Creek drainage.

An active monsoon surge brought several back-to-back days of thunderstorms producing heavy rain, damaging wind gusts, and hail across the state.
