Bank and Bollingbrook Streets were closed at Crater Road due to water over road. There were numerous reports of 3 to 4 inches of rainfall in this area over the past 90 minutes.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms in advance of a frontal boundary produced heavy rain which caused flash flooding across portions of central Virginia.
