A funnel cloud was observed descending from a wall cloud near Mt. Wrightston.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms developed and moved southwest across Pinal, Pima and Santa Cruz counties during the evening hours. One storm produced a funnel cloud near Mt. Wrightston while other storms produced damaging winds and flash flooding in the Tucson Metro area.
