The Middle Fork Little Emory River was out of its banks and flooding nearby properties in the Stephens and Corbin Hill communities of Morgan County along HWY 62.

Wider weather episode

A 500 MB low pressure trough over the center of the nation brought southwesterly flow to east Tennessee. This ushered a warm frontal boundary well to the north of the area, resulting in a warm and humid airmass.
