Event narrative

A well built outbuilding was blown down, multiple power poles down, multiple trees uprooted and snapped, and an RV was rolled over.

Wider weather episode

Strong to severe thunderstorms were expected across much of southern Colorado on this day, especially across the plains. Severe storms did occur late in the day into the evening, with damaging wind gusts the main threats. A few gusts up to around 75-85 mph were also observed.
