The water level on Cameron Run at Alexandria - Eisenhower Avenue quickly rose above flood stage, cresting at 15.03 feet at 12:55 AM EST. Most of the lower Holmes Run Trail along Cameron Run was flooded.

Wider weather episode

A slow moving boundary combined with plenty of moisture and an unstable atmosphere led to instances of flooding and flash flooding overnight on the 14th into the early morning of the 15th.
