Widespread frost produced light to moderate damage to crops in western Palm Beach County. Crops impacted were: green beans, sweet corn, and sugarcane. Continental high pressure settled over the Florida peninsula on the night of February 3rd and morning of February 4th, leading to clear nighttime skies and near calm wind which caused ideal radiational cooling.
