A severe thunderstorm producing winds estimated near 60 mph knocked down multiple trees near Muncy Valley.
Wider weather episode
A broken line of showers and storms developed in a warm and very humid airmass to the south of a weak stationary front over southern New York state during the afternoon and evening of August 12, 2021. This line produced sporadic wind damage as it progressed southeastward across central Pennsylvania, particularly along the I-80 corridor.
