The entire zone remained in Severe(D2) drought through the entire month. The Hillsboro Cooperative Observer reported 4.08 inches of precipitation which was 1.67 inches above normal.

Wider weather episode

Most areas of Southern New Mexico received above normal precipitation for the month which improved drought conditions for much of the region.
