NMDOT reported water flowing across Highway 9 about 19 miles west of Columbus.

Wider weather episode

A weak shortwave trough was moving out of southeast Arizona and with weak flow at the low and mid levels, slow moving storms developed and heavy rain produced some flash flooding along Highway 9 west of Columbus.
