Capitol Reef National Park officials reported 6 inches of water flowing across state Route 24 in several locations east of Fruita. UDOT also reported 6 inches of water flowing across state Route 24 between mileposts 81 and 84.

Wider weather episode

Several rounds of thunderstorms brought severe weather hazards to the state of Utah, including flash flooding in southern and eastern Utah, and damaging winds, hail, and a tornado in Northern Utah.
