Event narrative

Flash flooding occurred in Capitol Gorge. The Scenic Drive was closed for over 24 hours due to flooding. Several vehicles were stuck, and required towing to be removed. Water and mud also flowed over state Route 24 east of the Hickman Bridge trailhead.
