Twitter report showed flash flooding on Bill Evans Road south of Gila, NM.

Deep monsoon moisture was trapped over the Borderland with the region between two areas of high pressure, one to the west and one to the east. This setup a convergent zone across the area which helped to produce heavy rain in parts of southwest New Mexico.
