Ahead of a cold front, a broken line of thunderstorms formed on Tuesday evening from southern Ontario to northern Ohio. Eventually these storm storms moved east across our area, resulting in wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph Lake Erie, 30 to 40 mph on Lake Ontario, and nearly 50 mph along the St. Lawrence River.
