The peak wind gust at the Winslow Airport was 59 MPH at 1156 PM MST. The weather station at Two Guns reported a peak wind gust of 58 MPH at 1123 PM MST.

A deep polar low dropped down from Canada and across The Desert Southwest with very gusty winds and plummeting snow levels. High temperatures dropped 15-20 from 11 October to 12 October.
