WYDOT mesonet station Skyline (KSKL) along WY230 measured maximum wind gust 12 miles east-southeast of Encampment.

Strong winds for southeast Wyoming wind prone areas led to Interstate 80 between Laramie and Rawlins being closed to light, high-profile vehicles for much of the late morning and afternoon on the 23rd with gusts to 66 MPH.
