Event narrative

A secondary cold front produced scattered snow showers that coated the ground on Seven Mountains with around an inch of snow. Resultant slick roads caused a tractor trailer accident that closed the eastbound lanes between Mountain Back Road in Potter Township, Centre County and Stone Creek Road in Armagh Township, Mifflin County for a little under two hours during the evening of November 28, 2021.

A secondary cold front behind a departing Alberta Clipper produced scattered snow showers across portions of central Pennsylvania during the evening of November 28, 2021. A quick dusting of snow was enough to slicken roads in some areas, causing accidents that led to the closure of Route 322 through Seven Mountains in Centre and Mifflin counties and Route 30 over Laurel Mountain in Somerset County.
