WYDOT mesonet station Shirley Rim (WY44) measured maximum wind gust along WY487 2 miles northwest of Shirley Basin.
Wider weather episode
Strong winds with gusts 58-63 MPH impacted much of central Wyoming early in the morning on the 14th. This included northern Carbon County extending to the northeast into portions of Converse County.
