A UPR sensor (SHPCR1) located approximately 13 miles WSW of Agate along the border of Goshen County (WY) and southern Sioux County (NE) recorded a peak wind gust to 60 MPH at 1:00 PM MST.

Wider weather episode

A cold front brought a widespread bora high wind event to a large portion of the western Nebraska Panhandle during the early to mid afternoon hours on the 15th. Peak wind gusts 60 to 70 MPH were common across the region.
