Strong northwest winds generated a dust storm across the Antelope Valley. Highway 14 from Avenue I to Avenue A was closed for three hours. Visibility was reduced to zero miles in blowing dust and sand.

Strong and gusty northwest to north winds buffeted sections of Southern California. Wind gusts up to 69 MPH were reported.
