As a strong cyclone that produced over 10 of snow in some locations in northern Michigan departed the Great Lakes, cold air and WNW winds behind the system ushered in lake effect snow to NW lower and eastern upper. A heavy band developed primarily over Antrim and southern Otsego counties where an additional 10 of snow with the heaviest falling during the morning of 12/7.
