A powerful winter storm that originated the Gulf of Alaska, thrust into the Western United States from DEC 13-14 and brought heavy snow to the Sierra above 7000'. Accompanying high winds and widespread heavy rainfall to lower elevation areas over parts of eastern CA, the Sierra Front, and western Nevada.
