Event narrative
The entire zone remained in Severe(D2) drought through the month of November. The Buckhorn Cooperative Observer reported 0.06 inches of precipitation which was 0.78 inches below normal.
Wider weather episode
Another very dry month across southwest New Mexico led to some areas which had recently been brought out of D3(Extreme) and D4(Exceptional) drought back into D3(Extreme) drought.
