Event narrative

High water closed highway 18 near Otis, Bear Creek Road and Rose Lodge. Other roads in the area were closed as well. A landslide closed North Slick Rock Creek Road about 1/2mile south of highway 18.

Wider weather episode

Heavy rains produced by an atmospheric river brought river flooding to portions of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. In addition, high tide backed up rivers and creeks in low lying areas along the coast, enhancing flooding.
