The AWOS K1YT at the Vagabond Army Airfield in WA measured a peak wind gust of 64 mph at 1242 PST. The ASOS KYKM measured a peak wind gust of 59 mph at 1237 PST.

During the afternoon hours, a strong cold front passage across the Pendleton forecast area produced strong wind gusts across lower elevation areas, causing reports of damage in north central Oregon and in the Lower Columbia Basin.
