Very strong and gusty north to northeast winds impacted the coastal foothills from Malibu to the Hollywood Hills. Some peak gusts include: Escondido Canyon (gust 77 MPH), Malibu Creek (gust 68 MPH) and Ramirez Canyon (gust 72 MPH).
Wider weather episode
Very strong and gusty Santa Ana winds once again impacted sections of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. North to northeast wind gusts peaked up to 89 MPH in some spots.
