Four to five inches of snow fell across portions of Western Bergen County, with a trained spotter reporting 4.6 inches of snow in Franklin Lakes, and 4.1 inches of snow reported by the public.

A intense low pressure system tracks just inland from the coast as high pressure retreated resulting in wintry precipitation changing quickly to rain along the coast. The changeover took longer for northern and northwestern sections where accumulating snow fell.
