One to three inches of snow primarily fell across Eastern Bergen County before changing to rain. A trained spotter reported 2.2 inches in Westwood, a trained spotter reported 1.4 inches in East Rutherford, and the public reported 1.4 inches in Ridgewood.

Wider weather episode

A intense low pressure system tracks just inland from the coast as high pressure retreated resulting in wintry precipitation changing quickly to rain along the coast. The changeover took longer for northern and northwestern sections where accumulating snow fell.
