Social media images showed near zero visibility in blowing dust along Route 60 between Wickenburg and Quartzite. No damages of injuries were reported.

Wider weather episode

An upper-level trough moving across the region created a strong pressure gradient across southwest Arizona. Strong northerly wind gusts of up to 60 mph as well as dense blowing dust that dropped visibilities to less than 1/4 of a mile were observed.
