Wider weather episode

A very active pattern continued across southern Colorado during this period, with multiple upper level disturbances moving across the region. This supported another long period of damaging winds and heavy snow. Highest wind gusts were in the 70 to 90 mph range, with a 101 mph wind gust observed near Monarch Pass. The heavy snow was not too widespread, though Wolf Creek Pass did observe a storm total snow of 40 inches.
