Near Clover Hill and Friendsville, 3 to 4 inches of snow was reported.

Wider weather episode

A low pressure system tracked across West and Middle Tennessee into Kentucky and West Virginia through Sunday. Precipitation ahead of this system began as snow in the higher elevations of the Cumberland Plateau and mountains, while lower elevations began as rain. Behind the exiting system on Sunday night, a northwest flow developed and produced additional snow accumulations in the mountains.
