Event narrative

Precipitation totals included snow water equivalent of 3.0 to 3.2 inches, or approximately 19 to 21 inches of snow, at Currant Creek, Trial Lake, and Lakefork Basin SNOTELs and snow water equivalent of 2.0 to 2.4 inches, or approximately 12 to 15 inches of snow, at Brown Duck, Five Points Lake, and Chalk Creek SNOTELs. In addition, an observer 10 miles east southeast of Heber reported 11 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

An atmospheric river event brought heavy, wet, and dense snowfall to high elevation mountain ranges in northern Utah.
