Snow Squall. Automated weather stations along Intersate 15 between the Willard Port of Entry and Hill Air Force Base reported visibilities between 1/8 and 1/4 mile and wind gusts up to 40 mph. Traffic cameras showed roads became quickly snow covered, and traffic data from the Utah Department of Transportation showed significant travel impacts during the evening commute.

Wider weather episode

A winter storm system brough heavy snowfall to Zion National Park, as well as snow squalls across northern Utah.
