A 59 mph wind gust was measured at the Burley airport. Widespread gusts of over 50 mph occurred through the morning of the 14th.

The passage of a cold front brought extremely strong winds with gusts over 60 mph with most of the impacts and damage occurring in the Snake River Plain.
