The Hogg Pass SNOTEL measured 11 inches of new snow in a 15 hour period ending at 1100 on Dec. 23rd.

Wider weather episode

An upper level trough coupled with surface cold front passing over the region from Dec. 22nd through early Dec. 24th brought moderate snow showers across mountain areas in Northeast Oregon and Southeast Washington.
