On February 7th, Marion County Fire Rescue reported a 1 acre wildfire near Ocklawaha which then quickly grew to 172 acres before being 100% contained on February 12th. An unknown number of residences were advised to evacuate due to the wildfire.

At 7:30 pm, broadcast media reported a tree fell on a home in Ocala that caused roof damage. Over 45,000 customers (about 20% of the county) were without power after the storm passed early Friday Morning, the 27th. Many large trees across the county were uprooted.
