Swells from hurricane Isabel, that was passing about 1000 miles to the east of southeast Florida, capsized a watercraft at the Boynton Beach Inlet injuring two men. A 14-year-old swimmer was rescued from high waves near Juno Beach Pier. Minor beach erosion was experienced.

Sustained east winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 50 to 55 mph caused minor beach erosion and caused a crane-carrying barge to wash ashore just south of Lake Worth Pier.
