An elderly man and woman died in rural Morgan County as a result of hypothermia. Temperatures were in the teens and wind-chills were around zero at the time of their deaths.
A 75 year-old woman was found dead in her home in Chapin on July 22nd. She had no air conditioning and the temperature inside her house had reached 100 degrees. A coroner's report indicated that she had been dead for about 2 days before being found.
